Frank SmiddyChief Executive
Frank Smiddy has been designing, building and operating environmental remediation systems for over 30 years. After receiving his BS in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry from University of Massachusetts and MBA training at Notre Dame, Frank began his environmental career designing and installing activated carbon remediation systems for the cleanup of Underground Storage Tank sites.

In 1994, Frank started ProAct Services Corporation. ProAct specializes in design, construction and operation of environmental remediation systems. Since its beginning, ProAct has completed over 3000 projects in 42 states, Canada, Mexico and Colombia, S.A.
Gerard Smiddy has worked as ProAct’s COO for over ten years and is responsible for the construction, installation and maintenance of environmental remediation equipment. His past experience includes project management and superintendent duties in commercial construction. Mr. Smiddy also attended The Westbrook College of Business and served in the military.
Dave MorrowChief Operations
Dave Morrow has an extensive background in operational management and business systems knowledge. Working in both the Aerospace and Automotive industries over the past 40 years, Dave has been a key part of several large scale domestic and international business initiatives with a focus on value based systems development to support both organic and acquisition driven growth. Dave has a Business degree from Baker College to complement numerous certifications including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Enterprise Resource Planning and APICS Supply Chain Management.
Lori KnudsenChief Financial
Lori Knudsen has 26 years of experience providing financial support and accounting management in the environmental business field. During the first 16 years of her career, Lori worked as accountant and purchasing agent for an environmental laboratory. Ms. Knudsen joined ProAct Services in 2004, and is responsible for all financial reporting aspects of the business.
